Here’s the problem… Halloween came, you overate and stretched out your stomach, and you accidentally ignited those nasty sugar cravings that just won’t go away. (So you keep eating those darn treats without an end in sight.)

First off, if you’ve been following my newsletters for long, you know that I advocate eating five small meals each day, instead of one, two, or three big ones. Here’s why …
Your body has a stress hormone called cortisol. This hormone is associated with causing excess belly fat; the more cortisol you have, the more belly fat you typically gain.
Not only does belly bulge erode your health, but it also decreases your confidence and makes you feel embarrassed or ashamed. Not good. I know … I use to have 32 lbs of extra fat on my belly.
But get this: The New England Journal of Medicine published a study showing that individuals who consumed five to six mini-meals each day, spaced three hours apart, actually decreased their cortisol levels by 17% compared to those people who ate the SAME amount of food, but in three meals per day.
And, this cortisol-blunting effect occurred in just 14 days.Dang!!
So if you want to take control of your body’s cortisol levels to zap belly blubber, here’s a tip… there’s no need to take an expensive cortisol-lowering supplement (some of which could cost you hundreds of bucks a month). Simply start eating a small mini-meal every three hours to reduce cortisol up to 17% on your own.
That is just ONE of the benefits to eating five mini-meals a day, spaced three hours apart. And there’s many more such as:
- Frequent meals “stabilize” two other hormones responsible for causing hunger and storing fat—leptin and insulin.
- Frequent meals actually boosts your metabolism so you burn more calories per day.
- And by eating frequently your body also absorbs the nutrients from your food much better
Let’s face it, we all have a biological urge to eat until we are OVER full.
So when you begin eating a mini-meal every three hours during the day, you may not feel completely stuffed after each meal. But that will quickly change. The truth is, after just a few days of eating five mini-meals, your stomach will naturally begin to SHRINK in size and your cravings will vanish, and the small mini-meals will leave you feeling very FULL, satisfied, light, and energetic.
(And if you’re suffering with post-Halloween sugar cravings, these frequent meals will put an end to those as well.)
Most of you can forget about stomach stapling and gastric bypass surgeries to shrink your stomach. Eating small, frequent, balanced meals-–that don’t contain obesity additives like sugars and empty calories-–can do the same thing … naturally.
Make no mistake, if you do nothing else (but follow this one TIP) and begin to eat balanced mini-meals, spaced three hours apart throughout the day, you are going to make a MAJOR change in your body.
